Don’t Stress, This will Pass

Don’t stress, this will pass. During this hard times we need to remember this. There is so much going on right now, the world is changing every moment, new information about this situation keeps coming and it gets harder to stay calm.

How can we accomplish this when our daily life has changed? Some are stuck at home, some still going to work and some somewhere in between. The situation changes so fast that it’s hard to keep up. What can we do?

It is important to find moments to relax, to have something that can take your mind of this situation. Maybe for you it’s playing games, or maybe it’s gardening. How about watching TV? Anything that can help you relax is good.

How about excersising in front of your TV? Singing? The sky is the limit. Maybe this is a good time to call your family and friends that you haven’t talked in a while. Maybe even a video call!

It is important to never give up. Remember that these times won’t last forever. Keep moving forward and better times will come. Don’t stress, this will pass.

Thought of the day: Be Obedient

At this time of crisis wherein corona virus is spread globally. We are called to be obedient for our safety. If our government is advising us to stay away from social gatherings or stay home, then it is imperative to follow and obey. We are accountable of our health; therefore, we take responsibility on it. Our attitude should NOT be of obstinate but be of compliance. It is us, people that will benefit of it anyway. Obedience of good nature will have good outcomes.

Each one of us has a vital role in stopping the spread. Washing hands, avoiding touching our face, nose or mouth and stay distance of 6 feet are of the things we can observe. But above all stay connected to the God who created us. He is in control. Prayers are so powerful. We need the divine intervention. But we also must do our parts by doing what are required to do. Stay SAFE.
Keep in mind to be obedient as no one is exempted of this corona virus infection.

This is the time to unite, to show the true strength of our heart. Even if all around feels like it’s falling apart never lose hope, never give up. Stay strong and do good, stay true to your self and don’t let anything bring you down.

By standing united we will be able to overcome this. We are stronger than this. Never lose hope, never give up. Remember that there will always be light after darkness. We will persevere!

How to Survive Monday in Daylight Saving Time

Happy Monday! A new day with the difference that we are waking up earlier than usual. Do we really need daylight saving time? A question that we all have every year.

How do we survive today? Personally I think the key is coffee! Go grab a cup of it and when you finish it drink a second one. Of you don’t drink coffee then may I suggest some tea?

Now, if you get the chance go ahead and take a nap. That would give you a boost to finish today. Find ways to recover energies or to wake up. Me? I’m on my way to my 2nd cup of coffee with more to come.

What Would be your Superpower?

Happy Friday! The weekend is almost here and that brings a smile to our faces! As we wait for tomorrow to come a though cross my mind: what would it be to have a superpower and which one to have?

Why think about this? Because it’s fun to use your imagination. You are never too old to dream and have fun!

What superpower for me? That would be instant teleportation! Why? Just think about it. You can get to work in a moment, no more long commuting or traffic! You can also get home so fast to do the activities that you want. Want to travel? Just teleport there! The possibilities are endless!

How about you? Which would be your superpower? Feel free to leave a comment about it! Continue the rest of the day with a smile on your face and full of happiness!

The Valley

Life is like a valley
There is downhill and uphill
But amidst to it is a flat surface
Life never stays the same
But is goes with the fickle world

There may be a stormy weather
There may be inundated of flood
We may be dissuaded of the adversities
We may think that there is no more tomorrow
Our desperation is empowering us

Hold onto the truth
Hold onto the serenity of hope
Hold onto the bravery and courage
Hold onto the serenity of the beauty, it brings
Hold onto the prayers in our hearts

We can conquer the world
The rainbows are always be there
Look up there!
He will never leave us
The quest for our destiny will come on His ways.

Voting and Responsibility

Happy Super Tuesday! Today we find ourselves again in a day when we can have a saying in the future of our country. Voting is important, but being responsible about it is even more.

The person who we end up selecting will have influence on the future decisions of our country, future decisions that affect us and our family. This is why it’s important to search ourselves and also know who we are voting for.

Irresponsible voting can hurt more than no voting at all. Use your right, but remember to use it well. If you do this the you can feel peace that you did your best in this important occasion.

Go out and do your best. Vote and help shape the future in a responsible way!

Beauty is Everywhere

Beauty is everywhere around us, but many times we are blinded to it. How many times we are so busy walking from one place to another in the city to notice small beautiful things around us?

Take this flowers as an example, beautiful and strong, giving their all to live. We also need to be strong and give our all to live. We should look for beauty around us, inside of us. Only then we will be able to be happy as we go around our lives.

Always look forward, never behind. Our past might have made us, but it is our present that will define our future. As long as you never give up you will be able to find a way in your life. Be happy and always have a smile both inside and outside of you!

Cold Day, Great Coffee!

Happy cold Thursday everyone! I was thinking that the cold was gone, but it has come back! It really was a cold walk from the parking lot to the building. At least I did not become a popsicle!

Cold days gives us an excuse to drink some hot coffee (do we even need an excuse) or some hot chocolate. Once we are warm we are ready to start our day and give it our all at work school or even at home.

Every day of the week is unique and it will never come back. Enjoy your time on this earth. It’s better to be happy and enjoy it than sad and hate it. Never give up and always move forward!

Rhay

The place was so quiet and full of serenity. The sun was shining bright in midday. A cry was heard so loud. A girl was born. She weighed 6.8 pounds. Her height was 19 inches. She had beautiful black eyes and angelic face. Mother and father were so delighted to see their pretty daughter.

They were debating as what to name their daughter. Dad suggested to name her Rhay, but mother had a second thought.  She also had a name in mind which was Maggie.  Dad suggested to put the names together. That was such a good idea mom said. Therefore, they   came up to an agreement that since both liked the names they had, so why not just combined the two names together. The girl was named Rhay Maggie.

Rhay grew up to be kind and obedient child. Her parents taught her good values and most of all the faith to the Lord. Rhay had so much love to the Lord. After she helped her parents in the farm, she made time to run to the church to attend mass.

When she was 18 years old, she lost both of her parents. She was despondent of her lost. She did not know what to do as she was totally lost. She felt so alone. How can she support herself? Who can she confide her problems? She was so close to her parents.

At first, she asked God, why He took her precious family. She blamed God for everything. She was on a brink of giving up her faith. Because she was so overwhelmed that she could not breath. That very moment she asked the Lord’s forgiveness. She realized that God was bigger than her problems. She remembered that her parents taught her to be strong in the midst of trials.

She pursued going to school in college. During the day she worked in the farm and at night she took classes. Her life was hectic, but she was determined. She managed to work and study until she finished school. She was humbled and happy that through the years of focusing in school and supporting herself independently, she was able to get a diploma.

She taught in school. She shared to students the experiences she had. She was hopping that through telling them her stories that they will learn to never give up. And that there was reward of having perseverance amid challenges. Doing good deeds in the middle of crisis were worth remembering.
